Following on from previous Safari on Linux posts this is an update based on the status for Safari 4.

Update: Safari 4 on linux via WINE

In what sounds like some sort of review of a Bacchanalian orgy Safari has achieved Gold status on WINE as reported at WineHQ. The specific testing was made using version 4.0.4 (release number 531.21.10) on Kubuntu 9.10 (Ubuntu modified for KDE4) but this is likely to work as well on any major distro.

Once I’ve had chance to perform some tests I’ll post a little more here.
