So you’ve just loaded up WordPress, Textile, Blogger or whatever, grabbed a default template and now you want to mark the site as your own … add some funky backgrounds.

Well here are a couple of great sites:

But shush, don’t tell anyone these make life a lot easier creating little bits of background than using my usualy graphics applications – inkscape (SVG editor) and gIMP (pixel pusher).
